GateKeeper Systems Releases Special Purpose Inspections Module for Airports
All inspection reports now can be managed using APP-139 software
MINNEAPOLIS (September 8, 2015) - GateKeeper Systems, Inc., a recognized leader in commercial vehicle management, parking access control systems for airports, and software for airfield management, today released its Special Purpose Inspections module. This product enables the reports management of custom tailored inspections and checklists.
APP-139’s new Special Purpose Inspections (SPI) module helps airports manage all their reporting needs — whether daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or annual. Reports can be customized and built for specific needs. The module simplifies the management inspections via a desktop or iPad platform.
“What’s great about APP-139 is that it does more than the Part 139 inspections. We’ve even used it to automate our TSA random checklist and our ARFF checklists,” said Mike Friel, ARFF/Operations, Eagle County Airport.
APP-139’s Special Purpose Inspections module offers:
- Custom tailored (by us) inspections and checklists such as ARFF inspections, VASI/PAPI inspections, fuel farms, mobile fuelers, building inspections, and even TSA inspections.
- Use of mobile devices to let inspectors document and report discrepancies while in the field.
- Access to all reports- anywhere, anytime.
- The ability to export, save, and/or print versions of APP-139’s Special Purpose Inspections report.
- The ability for inspectors to add or update notes of an inspection after the initial inspection is completed.
- Compilation of information on each report (date completed, responsible parties, more).
“Our goal is to help airports manage all of their reporting needs,” said James Beiswanger, National Sales Manager. “ APP-139’s Special Purpose Inspections Module goes above and beyond the Part 139 required reporting and helps airports manage all of their specific reporting needs.”
